Irina Kakoiashvili - Finance Manager

Irina Kakoiashvili joined Rights Georgia in June 2025 as Finance Manager, bringing more than 16 years of experience in financial management, accounting, and organizational compliance. Prior to joining Rights Georgia, she worked at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES Georgia) from 2009 onward, where she served as Senior Finance Manager overseeing financial operations, reporting, month-end closing processes, and internal controls. Her work involved managing budgets, supervising financial documentation, ensuring donor compliance, and supporting the financial administration of complex programs.

Alongside her long-term work at IFES, Irina has held accounting and management roles in several organizations, including HMG, Wisdom Property Ltd., Elva NNLE, the Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation, and Buckswood International School. Earlier in her career, she also worked as a translator, editor, and content manager, combining strong linguistic skills with analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Irina holds an MA in Philology (Georgian Language & Literature and Classical Philology) from Tbilisi State University. She is fluent in Georgian, English, and Russian.
