Legal aid

One of the main areas of activity of Rights Georgia is the provision of free legal consultations and legal representation services.

Legal consultations involve in-person or telephone communication with a qualified lawyer, while legal representation includes the preparation of legal documents (applications, complaints, lawsuits, etc.) as well as representation before administrative bodies, and local and international courts.

Any person may request a legal consultation. As for representation before administrative bodies and courts, the appointment of a lawyer is determined based on the circumstances of the case and the needs of the beneficiary. In this regard, the organisation’s priority is the protection of vulnerable and marginalised groups.
