Coalitions
Rights Georgia is actively involved in the work of various thematic coalitions with the aim of promoting high standards of human rights protection and reforming the judicial system in Georgia.
Tbilisi Human Rights House
Since 2010, Rights Georgia has been a member of the Tbilisi Human Rights House alongside four other non-governmental organizations. By strengthening cooperation and joint action, the Human Rights House defends and empowers human rights defenders and their organizations on behalf of its member organizations and carries out educational activities on human rights.

Coalition for an Independent and Transparent Judiciary
Established on 29 April 2011, the Coalition brings together 40 NGOs. Its goal is to unite the efforts of human rights organizations, professional and business associations, and media representatives to create an independent, transparent, and accountable judiciary. The Coalition’s main activities include research and monitoring, developing and advocating for recommendations on judicial reforms, and fostering public discussions on pressing problems in the justice system.

Coalition for Equality
The Coalition for Equality is an informal alliance of NGOs formed in 2014 during the adoption of the Law on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination. Its goal is to uphold the principles of equality through effective measures against discrimination. Member organizations work to strengthen anti-discrimination mechanisms, provide legal assistance to discriminated groups, develop progressive case law, analyze equality policies, identify systemic shortcomings, and propose solutions.

Civil Platform “No to Phobia!”
Formed on 7 May 2014 by thirteen NGOs, the platform’s goal is to ensure close cooperation among civil society organizations to combat all forms of hate speech and discrimination in Georgian politics and the media. Its objectives include responding to incidents of hate speech through joint statements, declarations, and other mechanisms; encouraging political parties to establish internal mechanisms to combat hate speech and discrimination; promoting media literacy; and raising public awareness about the dangers of hate speech and intolerance.

Georgian Coalition for the International Criminal Court (GCICC)
Founded in June 2004 by seven Georgian organizations, the Coalition’s main objectives are to document crimes within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC), protect and support the interests of victims at the national and international levels, raise awareness among affected communities and the public about the ICC, and cooperate with the Court while advocating on existing challenges.

Coalition for Media Advocacy (Media Coalition)
The Coalition for Media Advocacy works to improve the media environment in Georgia and protect the interests of media owners and journalists. Since 2011, it has united NGOs working on media and freedom of expression issues. Rights Georgia joined the coalition in 2021.
