Tornike Obolashvili - Legal Advisor
Tornike Obolashvili joined Rights Georgia as a Legal Advisor in June 2025 as part of the UNHCR-supported project assisting refugees, asylum seekers, and persons with humanitarian status in Georgia. He has more than eight years of experience in constitutional law, accumulated through long-term service at the Constitutional Court of Georgia. Over the years, he has worked as Consultant, Senior Legal Adviser, Legal Assistant to a Judge, and most recently Senior Legal Assistant to a Judge.
His work has involved preparing legal documents, conducting comparative legal and normative research, analysing legislation and judicial practice, and providing legal consultation to judges on matters under consideration. Earlier in his career, Tornike also served as a parliamentary monitor at Transparency International – Georgia.
Tornike holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Tbilisi State University.
