With the Assistance of “Rights Georgia”, Iranian National Wins the Case Against the Public Service Development Agency in the Court of Appeals
29 July, 2021On July 28, 2021, the Court of Appeals upheld the decision of the Court of First Instance, which annulled the decision of the State Services Development Agency to refuse a short-term residence permit to a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to the decision of the Tbilisi City Court, the judge partially accepted the claim of the “Rights Georgia” and annulled the decision of the State Service Development Agency.
The decision of March 25, 2021, was appealed by the State Services Development Agency to the Court of Appeals, however, the Court of Appeals rejected the appeal of the State Services Development Agency and upheld the decision of the first instance court.
“Rights Georgia” defended the beneficiaries’ interests in both instances.
