With the legal assistance of “Rights Georgia” Armenian citizen obtained permanent residence permit in Georgia
10 March, 2021On February 2, 2021 an Armenian citizen approached “Rights Georgia”. The beneficiary wanted to obtain a residence permit in Georgia. Within the legal assistance, “Rights Georgia” provided the qualified legal consultation on how to apply for residency, what documents are required to obtain a residence permit.
As the beneficiary is in a registered marriage with a citizen of Georgia, we assisted her in obtaining a permanent residence permit. At the initial stage, her statement was flawed, however after the “Rights Georgia’s” involvement in the administrative proceedings and assistance in eliminating the deficiency, her application was approved. As a result, the beneficiary was granted the permanent residence permit in Georgia.
Free legal service was provided to the Armenian national within the framework of the project "Legal Assistance of Migrants Living in Georgia" which is implemented in cooperation with the IOM and financial support of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry.
