As Part of a Youth Initiative, the Library Collection of the Akhalsopeli Youth Center Was Renewed

Active young people from Kvareli Municipality successfully carried out a civic initiative aimed at updating the library collection of the Akhalsopeli Youth Center.
As part of the initiative, the youth organized a public film screening, where the symbolic entrance fee was the donation of a new book for the library. Through this creative approach, in just one day, the library collected around 20 books of various genres.
The initiative was implemented with the support of Rights Georgia and the Akhalsopeli Youth Center. The young people plan to continue such actions on a regular basis to further enrich the library.
Encouraging youth-led initiatives is part of Rights Georgia’s broader efforts to promote civic engagement among young people in the Kakheti region and to raise awareness of human rights at the local level. The project is financially supported by the European Union (EU) and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN OHCHR).
