Trainings for Youth Held in Akhalsopeli, Kakheti

Two trainings for young people from the Kakheti region were held at the Akhalsopeli Youth Center.
On September 20, Vladimer Mkervalishvili, Executive Director of Rights Georgia, conducted a practical Training of Trainers (ToT) session aimed at developing young people’s skills to independently plan and deliver trainings. Within the program, participants enhanced their facilitation skills, learned methods of managing difficult behavior and conflict resolution, and gained practical experience in planning and conducting effective learning sessions. The youth also conducted demonstration sessions and received feedback from their peers.
On September 21, the training focused on project development and fundraising. Participants explored different types of grant projects, proposal design, implementation planning, risk management, and budgeting. Through group work, they developed and presented their own project ideas. The session was led by Diana Lezhava, an expert in project management and fundraising.
The practical trainings for youth were organized by Rights Georgia and the Akhalsopeli Youth Center. Their implementation was made possible with the support of the European Union (EU) and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN OHCHR).
