Project Goal: To protect the rights of women and children victims of domestic and gender-based violence through strategic litigation and improve their access to legal aid.
Project Objectives: Within the project, "Rights Georgia" will use strategic litigation to protect the rights of women and children victims of domestic and gender-based violence. The process will incorporate international and European best practices, which will contribute to the development of victim-centered approaches. The project will also help enhance the capacity of legal professionals working on issues related to domestic and gender-based violence, while raising public awareness about mechanisms for combating violence and the needs of victims.
