Saba Chitidze joined the Rights Georgia team in October 2023.
Before starting his work at Rights Georgia, Saba worked as a senior specialist in the Department of Legal Drafting at the Ministry of Justice, where his main responsibilities included preparing drafts of normative acts, reviewing legislative acts, and preparing relevant positions.
From 2017 to 2019, Saba worked as a legal consultant in the Department of Legal Support and Research at the Constitutional Court of Georgia. In this role, his responsibilities included reviewing petitions and providing analytical information to judges, as well as preparing research and drafts of the court's legal acts.
At various times, he completed internships at the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association and the Geneva Cities Hub.
Saba graduated from the Faculty of Law at Tbilisi State University, earning both bachelor's and master's degrees. He later continued his studies at the Geneva Academy, completing a Master's program in Transitional Justice, Human Rights, and the Rule of Law in 2023.
