Sophiko Aleksidze has been working as a lawyer at the organization "Rights Georgia" (then "Article 42 of the Constitution") since 2007. On July 2, 2021, Ms. Mchedlishvili was elected to the organization's board for a two-year term.
Education:
In 2008 she received a Bachelor's Degree at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University - Lawyer.
Work experience:
During this period she was a lawyer of various projects. Also, she worked successfully in the August War cases and filed appeals to the European Court of Human Rights. As a trainer, she has been invited to several projects. She is currently working on the project “For Women convicts who have experienced violence and discrimination and better service provision for their children” as a lawyer.
